Start up or expanding industrial businesses may qualify for special electric rates through our electric supplier. The Industrial and Educational Development Rate is a graduated discount on demand costs based on minimum load. This discount is intended to provide incentives for new or expanded manufacturing, warehousing and certain accredited facilities, such as adult or higher education centers, and public and private schools.
