City of Waynoka - Home Working Together

The City of Waynoka works together with several associated boards to extend the services available to our residents. These boards include the Waynoka Industrial Authority, Waynoka Nursing Center Board, Waynoka Airport Board, the Waynoka Library Board, Waynoka Housing Authority, the Waynoka Mental Health Authority and the Century Community Committee. Waynoka Industrial AuthorityThe Waynoka Industrial Authority is most visible as the developer of the Spring Hill Addition to Waynoka. The board members are Mick George, Cheryl George, Tim Crissup, Sandie Olson, Stan Bixler and Ray Bender. Waynoka Nursing Center BoardThe Waynoka Nursing Center Board oversees the operation of the Waynoka Nursing Center. The administrator is Christine Mwanje. The board members are Chair Bill Wilson, Mark Carson, Judy Ferguson, and Sharon Maras. Waynoka Airport CommissionThe Waynoka Airport Commission works to maintain and expand our local airport. Ray Hull chairs the Airport Board, with members Dennis Eslick, Cullan Olson, Roscoe Like, E.J. Vanderslice, and Lynn Whipple. Waynoka Library BoardSandie Olson, Steve Haltom, Mike Marsalis, Mary Gosney, Pam Davidson and Dell Nutter all serve on Waynoka's Library Board. Waynoka Mental Health AuthorityThe Waynoka Mental Health Authority operates the Northwest Substance Abuse Treatment Center. It offers a comprehensive substance abuse treatment program to women with children. It allows the women and their children to stay together. The board is chaired by Sidney Smiley, with members Richard Moore, and Barbara Icke. Waynoka Planning CommissionThe Waynoka Planning Commission is charged with planning Waynoka's future as a city. This commission also serves as the Zoning Board of Adjustment, to address local zoning issues and requests. Members are Carlson Stewert, Bruce Koehn, Shannon Treece, Susan Bradford, and Dawn Hayes. Waynoka Housing AuthorityMembers of the WHA are Garland Quarles, Leslie Unruh, and Linda Hutchison. Waynoka Century Community"The community of Waynoka strives to improve the quality of life for its
